The point is not just watching great players from a seat in the dark. It is getting closer to the music, the questions, the stories, and the playing.

Who Comes To Woodshed

Woodshed is for guitar players. Some come to learn from world-class players. Some come to jam. Some come to talk riffs, tone, pedals, amps, songs, and the small details their regular friends are tired of hearing about. Some come with a son, daughter, parent, or friend because guitar is the thing they share.

You do not need to be a pro. You just need to love guitar enough to want a few days of it.

The Setting: Lake Frances Retreats

Woodshed takes place on a 150-acre private lakeside property outside Crossville, Tennessee. It gives the weekend room to breathe: workshops, meals, jams, concerts, lake time, and downtime without the feel of a crowded festival.
